Introducing the ‘Dalat Jade’ Green Chrysanthemum

After four years of selective work in the tissue-culture laboratory, Dalat Flora introduces Dalat Jade — a lime-green chrysanthemum aimed at premium export (demo cultivar from the import stub, not a catalogue SKU row).

Breeding path

Stable colour and stem strength were the gates before greenhouse scale-up. Virus-free stock starts in flasks, then acclimatisation, then netting and pinching on the same highland schedule as our commercial disbud lines.

How we will grade it

Export lots will follow the same stem-length and head-size discipline as Makoto-class disbuds: 80–90 cm targets and uniform foliage, with off-spec stems pulled before sleeves.

  • Tissue-culture mother stock
  • Greenhouse finishing in Don Duong
  • Cold chain 1–4°C after harvest

Who it is for

Novelty and high-end retail programmes that already buy dyed whites often want a true green without pigment. Minimum volumes will follow the same OEM conversation as custom colours.

Trial lots

Ask the desk for trial-week availability on Fresh Flower Export or cuttings if you propagate in-house.
