The tissue-culture lab has passed a one-million plantlet milestone for chrysanthemum stock (demo milestone from the import title). The point for growers is repeatable, virus-free material — not a vanity count.
What a million plantlets actually means
Each flask batch is still recorded, acclimatised, and either finished in our greenhouses or shipped as tissue culture / cuttings. Scale only helps if contamination and mix-ups stay out of the rooms.
Keeping lines separate
Expanded bench space is useless if Makoto stock shares a trolley with a trial colour. We keep culture rooms and tray IDs aligned with the same SKU names buyers see on export cartons.
- Batch IDs from flask to greenhouse
- Acclimatisation before dispatch
- Mother-stock reserved for cuttings vs finishing
Ordering stock vs finished stems
Say whether you need plantlets, rooted cuttings, or fresh cut. The lab calendar and the packing-house calendar are not the same week.
