New Makoto SKU for Japan Market

Makoto remains one of Dalat Flora’s flagship disbud lines for Japan wholesale. This season we tightened stem-length and head-size bands so auction lots arrive with the 15–20 day vase life Japanese retailers expect.

Why Makoto for Japan programmes

White Makoto grades cleanly for both natural and dyed programmes. Flower diameter sits in the 10–12 cm band used across our disbud catalogue, with 80–90 cm stems packed 10 stems per bunch unless the buyer specifies OEM counts.

Japan windows are tight: we book cold-room slots and reefer loading against the buyer’s arrival calendar rather than packing “when the house is full.”

Dyed options without mixing lines

Custom colour matching is available on selected white stock. Dyed runs use dedicated packing shifts so pigment does not cross onto untreated bunches — the same rule we apply on the packing floor for all novelty colours.

  • Food-grade colour process on white Makoto
  • Minimum order quantities for custom shades
  • Separate cold storage until carton close

How we grade export lots

QC checks stem rigidity, foliage, and head uniformity before sleeves go on. Off-spec stems are pulled for domestic or lower grades so export cartons stay consistent from first bunch to last.
